Electric service
Through the Wagoner Public Works Authority, the city purchases electricity from Grand River Dam Authority and delivers it to its citizens and business. This service is overseen by Utilities Director Dwayne Elam.

Rates subject to Power Cost Adjustment (PCA). GRDA has a PCA in effect that raises or lowers the wholesale energy cost above or below a base cost per killowatt-hour. This PCA is made effective for six-month periods beginning Jan. 1 and July 1. The amount of the adjustment is provided to the public works authority by GRDA.
If the PCA is positive, the PCA will be added to the customer bill. The PCA will be equal to 110% of of the GRDA PCA rate applied to each kilowatt-hour billed.
If the PCA is negative, it will be subtracted fromthe customer bills for each kWh used.
PENALTY FOR LATE PAYMENT
In the event a bill is not paid on or before the due date thereof a penalty of 10 percent of the total bill shall be added to the bill and a delinquent notice will be mailed to the customer.
Service will be discontinued for non-payment if the amount due is not paid on or before the cutoff date on the delinquent notice. In that event, service charges as follow will be made for disconnection and reconnection of service:

Small Commercial Rates
These rates are available to commercial establishments, rooming houses, multiple family dwellings, or for combined commercial and residential use for usage up to 10,000 kWh/month, or a demand of 25 kW or less for the present and immediate past consecutive months.
